neons or LED's

Hey guys,
I was just wondering which do you think are better, neons or LED's
I heard that some LED's are crap because if one screws up it'll end up being an open circuit and the rest of the LED's wont work. With neons, I've experienced with my internal ones a fuse blowing and coz of that the neon goes unless u replace the fuse.
So yeah which ones do you think are better in terms of value of price (LED's costing more than neons in Australia)

Also.. if I was to install this onto my 5th Gen Prelude, is there a possibility of hooking the clips on without drilling any holes? Im not too fond of drilling any holes in anything and was wondering if it was possible 2 attach it on wivout having 2 drill anything.

Thanks

Definately go led's much briter and the chance of breaking one is slim.

LED's are low power and high output. I don't know about efficiency, but LEDs are definitely brighter.

Re: neons or LED's

drilling is the besy way to secure that investment.

clips break/bend

and the same goes for straps.

I prefer neon. Yes you take a chance with breaking them but they glow wide. LED lights leave dots on the ground but are harder to break. I dont care if I break the neons. I like the glow better

My friend's got these LED's under his Impreza RX and he's got the globes angled so they dont shine directly downwards... so they're sorta shining to the other side of the care. Because the 'circles' are so far apart when they reach the other side, its no longer circles, just an even spread of glow that cover the whole of the undercar. With neons, I've seen bars of glow on the outer edge of the car and some dont quite cover the total under of the car.

With neons, what are some tips handling it when installing so I dont break mine when I buy them

Mount to the inside of the pinch weld and make sure that it is a straight line. No bends or humps that would add pressure to the neon. i have owned many sets of neons and have never broke a set yet (knock on wood).
