Re: silvia S15 front on s14 or not?

I like the S15 front, but it is so damn expensive, I say go with what you like, if you can afford it, then go for it (Iwould use the cash to get more power).

I want an R33 front cuz my car has no front end, so I pretty much have to spend cash either way I go, OEM or aftermarket, so I will go with afterM.

if thats your car in your avitar, i would stick with that. the 97-98 240sx front is bad ass. don't go s15, it doesnt match the s14 rear and looks stupid.

my car is on the left in the picture, the avitar picture is not my car, mine is a 95 with no mods at all, body is stock, and some ugly wheels. It looks like a freaken boat, with no bumper front lip, so its just ugly IMO.. and on the right we have a S15 front, and it looks bad!! so should i keep my stock front and or go with the S15? vote vote vote!!

So instead of having an S14 boat with no mods your gonna have an S14 w/ S15 Front boat with no mods.

Spend the money on some 5-lug hubs and get a good set of Rims. then find a stock S14 lip.

Stock S14 w/ R33 GTR wheels > Stock S14 w/ Silvia Front

Re: silvia S15 front on s14 or not?

If you really want to change your front end, why not do the 97-98 headlights. I think those look better then the s14.5 conversion.

i was thinking on doing the 97-98 front on my 95 240, im still thinking is i should go with that or the S15 front. Its kinda a hard choice because they both look nice and sporty. I see 97 s14s around here, and never an S15 convo, just wanna make something so few have. Now if i do the S15 ofcourse i will not keep my car stock like it is right now. I would do the wheels and full body kit, turbo and internals, dont get me wrong, im not just gonna do the the S15 and leave everything like a noob haha, just still not sure if i want to do all the mods i have planned with 95 front or 97 front or the S15 front. choices choices!!!

IMHO you should probably spend that money towards the rebuild. in my case i'm gonna do my front end conversion first because i am getting body work done (damn rust) overall everything, so i figured i might as well get the conversion so it can get painted, makes sense. besides, i'm sure you'd enjoy going speedy before looking speedy but that's just my opinion

Re: silvia S15 front on s14 or not?

I vote to leave it the zenki way you bought it. . . . The more you tune the more hook ups you'll get. . . . SOOOOOOO obviously if you make hella friends at garages a few if not more will have a hook up at a body shop and will be willing to hook you up. Since you have made your mind up to convert it anyways you BETTER do it right because if/when you sell your car you wont make shit back if its a P.O.S. job.

I think kouki front looks the best, so I am with 1997-1998 front all the way.

Like on FATF when hector brought in a poorly drawn picture of a B16 and Brians all like "spoon engine? yeah i can get one custom built and shipped from Japan in a day" it will be all like that.

With the way the band wagons truckin you could duct tape the fenders on and sell it for 10,000 dollars

Re: silvia S15 front on s14 or not?

S15's r so rare and badass, I plan to get an S15 conversion on my zenki one day also. sure kouki's are nice, but they won't turn heads like S15s! Not to mention you will probably hardly ever see an s15.

i personally never saw an S15 nor the S15 front conversion in real life, and i know if i see it id be all HOLLY CRAP!! and stare at it drooling. but then again i have only seen one 97 240sx around here, and its red and its stock, no body kit and no front spoiler... actually i saw 2 my bad, one was a red and the other was black at this auto auction that was hit in the front not badly, and i bid on it and lost by $200!!! it closed at like $1400. but it was automatic, so it wasnt worth the time and money to fix it up. But here is a sick stock 97 240 minus the wheels... http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/4128f...5wIYBBCwaqO4tL
i hope that link works.. if it doesnt let me know. But this is the sickest stock 240 i have ever seen... im using this same picture as my signature, so maybe that will work if the link i posted above doesnt... this is why i want 97 front conversion but yet the s15 pulls me back
