sub frame connector install
I want to put sub frame connectors on my car not sure if i ll enough HP to really need them but better to be safe then sorry . I want to do this before i had any major add on's so i wont be tempted to get in it and possibly twist something. Anyway i 'm guessing weld in connector would be better than bolt in other than the obvious things like interior removal and such . what else is involved ,ie cuting floor boards or existing frame mods

Re: sub frame connector install
You will need to remove the carpet, but other than that, there should not be any cutting involved. I have no idea where you are at, but if your in Nor Cal, I have few places for you to get the subframes installed correctly. Personally, I would put subframes on any Fox body mustang, regardless of how much hp you make.

Why would you have to remove the carpet? All u have to do is weld them under your car from the front sub frame to the rear.

#1 Stock fox-chassis V8 Mustangs should have sub-frames stock. There is more than enough toruq out of a stock efi 302 if you hook to do some frame twisting.
#2 The only sub-frames that require interior removal are Griggs insane style sub-frames that go inside the channels of the subframes.
