GST Help!
Hey, im new to the forum and im having some problems with my car. It's a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Black GS-T. It has an apexi N1 exhaust and GT downpipe, GREDDY Type-S BOV, Injen Intake, Dejon Intercooler Pipes. A few weeks ago i took out the pipe that recirculates the air back to the intake from the bov. I forgot to plug up the hole and more air was getting into the intake than it was being accounted for by the mas or whatever. Now im getting check engine codes (P1105) and i have reset the ecu or w/e and they keep coming back. The car loses MUCH performance when its hot in the middle of the day, but is GREAT in the morning. Oh and by the way, the pipe was put back on a few days after taken off (few weeks ago) so dont think its still missing. What do you think is the problem? also the gas pedal gets REALLY loose in the afternoon when its hot too, but its stiff in the morning. HELP
PS (the p1105 check engine code says air-fuel metering) |

Re: GST Help!
if you reset the ecu, it will go away.

I did reset the ECU and it keeps coming back. I have probably done it 6-10 times. There is something else wrong.

Re: GST Help!
go to autozone and ask to use the scan tool... go out, scan the code, hit erase! done, if it comes back most likly if you are getting a air metering code you need a new mass air sensor!
