04 Tahoe-Blast of air under the dash

When you start the vehicle after it's been turned off and you get to about 10 mph, You hear a blast of air coming from under the dash around the brake pedal area. Has anyone experienced this. We had an 02 Tahoe that never made this noise. You can hear it when the a/c is on low and the radio is off. It seems to happen about the same time the ABS engages.

Thanks

Re: 04 Tahoe-Blast of air under the dash

I have an 04 Tahoe. When I accelerate, I hear the intake from the brake pedal area. I only started to hear this after the streering shaft was replaced (warranty). I have been told twice by the dealer that it is operating as designed. I have driven other Tahoe's and do not hear the air intake. The shaft grommet was supposedly checked and was inplace. I am at the end of my rope with this truck...
