Also would anyone know an aproximate price (I would import the car from the UK)? I curently live in holland and i will be moving to spain in 1 year and buying the car in 2. I would like to import an R32 GT-R. Thanks for the information in advanced.

so your dutch and caught by the skyline virus...take a look at the uk autotrader site and you wil find plenty skylines...all types and models...

there you can find a price...but i don't know the rules in spain around cars and importing....uk is european union so i car that is allowed in european is allwoed everywhere...

think also about the dealerships and there expertise on skylines...cos the car is never sold in spain the spanish importcompany can't get there hands on maintenance manuals...

Derby

let me know how everything will proceed and so on...

Re: Importing a skyline into spain

well im not dutch im spanish, And i might be moving to the UK or Spain depending on my university choices. I'll do research know but i wont get around to doing it till 2 years. Also im not the kind person that saw 2f2f and was like i need a skyline. I new about the skyline even before F&F. I just saw that prices in the UK are lower than 10000pounds and i thought maybe i can get one. thanks for the info. Ik spreek ook nederlands dus je kan verder in nederlands spreeken.

Well my friend I am currently in Spain and own a Skyline but the kicker is I am in the US Armed Forces. We have an agreement with the Spainish. Heres the deal we have; We can only own one foriegn car while living in Spain. Now by foreign, according to the Spainish, foreign means any car that is not made/produced in Spain. So I can own 1 car from the USA/Japan/UK/Germany/etc and the other car has to be from Spain. Freakin retarded if you ask me. Anyway, there seems to be no law against owning a Skyline in Spain like there is in the USA. There are no emession tests or safety regualations to stop you. So getting your Skyline in should be a breeze. The only thing I would think that would slow you down is shipping fees, which I have no answer to.

Now the reason why Spainish folk don't own any Skylines are because the Spanish, when buying a foriegn car, have to pay some hefty taxes on said car.

Good luck to ya!
