carrier bearing
I was lubin my slip yoke and noticed i have about 2" of movement in driveshaft at the carrier bearing. Is this normal. Could this be part of the jerking in the rear end when I let the clutch out. Thanks for any help.

Re: carrier bearing
I don't think it's normal - mine had to be replaced under warranty for the same issue, back in 98.
