Crager S/S Rims?

Im looking for a place to purchase Crager S/S rims. I tryed the search button, and first it said "SS" was to short of a word to search, then I just typed in crager and got 2 threads. None of them contained the information Im seeking.

If you could link me that would be awesome.

Re: Crager S/S Rims?

1/24 or real ones ??
If 1/24 (or 1/25) is what you're searching... I know a place but don't even know if it's existing again... and I don't remember the name either but there was a little greek guy iwith a dress in a "horse cart" in the ad... if it's a scaled version you want, I could find the name of this place again because I have this at home (but you'll have to be patient, no computers at home and the week-end is comming)... they were in real metal too and look very good !!

If it's real one 1:1 scale ... then I know a guy with those on his Econoline... but I'm not sure I want to ask him if he can sell them !

Ok then... but like I said, I hope they are still "up n running" but I know where to find it in the mess I have at home... Post you the place Monday... PM me if I forget ! I'm a little brain so I'm gonna check immediately when I'll get back home, this way, if I forget to post Monday morning, I'll post Monday lunchtime.

Re: Crager S/S Rims?

Why not just by something like the Revell '37 Coupe, it has the Cragar's.

Re: Crager S/S Rims?

A lot of AMT or Monogram kits have Cragars.

Ok, I checked this like I said and well, found both company that did those Cragar SS (thanks to my little brain).

First: R&D Unique, Cast Pewter wheels (polished or not) and tires (Bf Goodrich) for 4.25$ !! I think the one you're searching would be RDU-2475 At least, they look like SS if I remember correctly.

The second one were from Empire Models and called ARII Tires and were sold in a crate of 16 tires/Wheels... I can't find them anymore since the Ad I got was from 1990 but they did make the Cragar SS. I found some ARII wheels but not the one you're searching for.

Others are listed by other member before me and sound good too.
