Stalls at stop after Disconnecting battery

Isn't there a certain number of cold starts the engine has to do to reset the memory.....I read a post about this before....anyone know

I always just start 'em, set the brake, block the tires, and let 'em sit and idle in gear for 20 mins or so. It recovers. I forget the actual correct procedure.

Let it idle in park for two fan cycles. (radiator fan cuts on/off twice) Kill it, then take it for a 15 - 20 minute drive on the interstate.
