rebuilt engine/tranny?
there is a REALLY REALLY NICE gst for sale around my area that im looking to buy that has around 120,000 miles on it for $6k. Pretty much everything was rebuilt from 110,000 miles. If a motor and transmission has just been rebuilt, can i expect a good amount of life out of both or is it just a temporary thing? are these motors known to last upon being rebuilt? Thanks

Re: rebuilt engine/tranny?
Depends on what was wrong and who did the work. The tranny will likely last a long time. If the motor was rebuilt because it crankwalked it may not last, they typically dont. If it was rebuilt for any of the 10,000 other possible reasons, it will probably last just fine.
