97 LSi exhaust question
Hello again. I was leaving work today and noticed the ol' Geo was running on low on get up and go juice. When I got hope I discovered that the exhaust had broken off where it joins to the muffler.
Anybody wanna give me a heads up on where I can find some decently priced options? Maybe other vehicles with the same layout. Maybe I can find a nice FlowMaster on eBay. I'm too lazy to go out and look under the car right now, I just got home from work and all I did earlier was figure out "Yep, it's broken.....right there. Cool, I'm going inside." Maybe I should go take a look at that now.....? ph03n1x |

Every metro from 89 on up have that problem. I would just find a "mom and pop" style exhaust shop that'll weld in a new muffler, or bend you a new exhaust. I had my 2" exhaust from the header on back, with muffler, installed for $150.

Re: 97 LSi exhaust question
I was going to do that as a second resort. Like everybody else I want to do all that I can to make this car as quick as possible. So I figured that if I could afford it then I might as well install some quality parts. I like this car alot but I am notorious for being hard on cars. And I've no doubt been hard on this little Metro since I got it. So as stuff breaks I'll just figure out some way of replacing it with a beefier part. It feels like after this I'll be looking at suspension. ::sigh::
