I have a 95 geo metro which recently failed the visual inspection part of the smog test because it was missing the fill pipe restrictor - it passed the emissions part. I was given a couple of options:
1. Replace the fuel pipe filler neck 2. Buy an insert that fits into the neck and restricts the diameter. I would like to spend less money if possible, but I'm not sure option 2 will pass smog. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

You're from California aren't ya. Smog testing out there is CRAP. I would suggest not buying a new one, but go to a junkyard and get a used one for pretty cheap. Easy fix, and everyone will be happy
