battery relocation

anyone here ever done the batterry relocation kit in thier fbody?
i have been looking at them and need to find out whats the story

Re: battery relocation

Only in my 3rd gen - Fits pretty good in the spare tire well. Kind of a PITA not too much of a difference.

in the 93-97 fbodies the battery tray and the coolant filler are one piece. my battery tray part is broken so i need to replace the whole thing and i figured it would be better to just relocate the battery somehwere else while i am at it
