I had an accident recently, it was a front end collission but not too bad, however ever since my fuel gauge has not been functioning correctly. It will sometimes read full when it is on empty. If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: fuel gauge for my 93 buick regal custom
There is a plastic clip that holds the rod from the float to the fuel sender that may have broken in the collision. It will allow the float to move without actually moving the rheostat that makes the guage read accurately.
