Angry 92 Ss 2.2l

Was returning home when the trans jumped. pushed in clutch and attempted to shift gears, however the gears were not responding. when i finally got it back in gear and relased the clutch it did not want to move and killed the motor. any help would be nice

Assuming you have a 2WD, It sounds as though the cluster is caught between 2 gears and both are engaged to the countershaft. This usually happens when a shifter fork gets bent or the nylon wears on the fork go out to lunch.

thanks for the info but we found out that the trans is locked beyond repair
