Unhappy Fairwell to the B13

Last sunday I came home around 2am, and when I woke up monday to go to work the car was gone. What's wierd is that the car was locked, no other cars were touched, no glass broken, it had stock wheels, and no cd player. I have no idea why anyone would steal it. WTF!!??

I want my next car to rwd. I really want another nissan so I was thinking about an early 90's 240sx, datsun 510, or even a 240z. I've got to take into account insurance so that also plays a big factor.

Sorry to hear about your car. Car thevies suck my left nut But hey just keep moving on to bigger and better things right? RWD sounds good to me. I would shoot for the 510 with a SR swap. That would be sweet

Re: Fairwell to the B13

Holy Crap! WTF? That's horrible man! I guess this is the time for SE-R break-ins. A guy I work with had his broken into and they jacked his CD player and totally F-ed up his locks and everything. But yea, I'm sorry to hear about the car man! That thing was clean. BTW, you're still going out to get footage this weekend right?

That does suck, people who screw with other people's cars deserve to be castrated as far as I'm concerned. Sorry to hear about your loss, but perhaps some good will come out of it.

Re: Fairwell to the B13

Sucks big time. If you are going for a swap stay RWD and as light as possible. I would probally recomend the 240z

Re: Fairwell to the B13

DAMN.

What the hell???

Ugh.

Keep an eye out for SE-R or SR20 parts being sold in here: http://www.sr20forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=54, especially from your area/state.

Re: Fairwell to the B13

MY IDEA
damn if this would happen to me i would probably buy full coverage insurance and a week later report the car stolen (i dont know if this would work) hope fully they took it to another state or country then the cops wont know its missing then when you report it they wont find it and the insurance will pay u BIG!!! as I said i dont know it this will work. do u think this might work?

Thats what we like to call insurance fraud, and will land you some decent jail time. Be original, get a 180 and go for a Silvia transformation...

How is 180 to silvia original?

IMO the 510 would be way more original.

Re: Fairwell to the B13

haha tow it...

that would be funny..

all jokes aside... that really sucks man... i've had my car broken into before (not my current one *knocking on wood*) but it sucks when something so important to you get's stripped away by some jackass who's probably too stupid to know what he's doing at the time...

hopefully your car will turn up... and i'd do the hunt for another rwd car myself if i were you... there's a 300zx here in mobile that i've got my eye on... going to check it out tomarrow...

lighter is better by the way... so keep your head up high and keep stepping tall... at least that will show the coward that you're stronger than he thinks.

That sucks dude, I can't even imagine what it is like. Never had anything like that happen to me, all I can say is I'm sorry man, and that I would raise hell.
Its so weird though, my neighbor has an SE-R and his was broken into about a week ago. Here in Washington, Nissans are getting a fisting each week. I have friends with 240SXs being stolen, and all sorts of 350Zs being broken into. Hondas used to be the main target, but its Nissan's turn now...sorry man.

I would take carnutt's advice and watch out for your parts being sold on the net. Report it to the cops, and have EVERYONE you know be on the lookout. If you do find it how it was, and find the people, give them a thorough ass kicking.

My condolences...
