Question accord v6 spark plug wires

hey i replaced the spark plugs on my 98 accord v6 sedan (i put platnum spark plugs)...i am in the process of getting new spark plug wires aswell....i wanted to put original wires from the dealer but they are $140 bucks...i was wondering if there is spark plug wires that perform better than stock wires possibly add a few more horsepower....... anyone know any brands and models of wires that i could put on my accord v6.......thanx.

Re: accord v6 spark plug wires

Wire is wire. If you can salvage the ends, then any spark plug wire will work. You won't get any more horsepower but less possiblity of the car missing and maybe easier starting.

I bought Accel wires. They fit well and came in red. Now I have blinged my engine!

SOme after market plug wires are lousy. The Honda ones might be worth the extra. (But it's not a matter of horsepower - just reliability)
