Angry rough idle

I took my car to a dealership to get the timing belt changed and I get the car back and its idling rough. I take it back to the guy and now he wants to give me a 450.00 tune up and fuel injector cleaning.

What makes the car idle rough?

It could be a couple of things. Did this start immediately after the timing belt replacement? If so, the timing could be off. Also, I was told intake gaskets could be an issue ( I replaced mine with no success). I've also had the dealer clean my injectors and fuel system with no success. My next step is to follow the TSB on our cars which includes replacing the exhaust valve springs. The fatigued springs may cause a small miss and hesitation at low rpms (more noticeable at highway speeds at low rpm and acceleration). What year is it? My car began idling rough after the fuel system cleaning, however, I believe it was just coincedental and I just noticed at that time.

Re: rough idle

Its a 2000 with 74K miles on it. I didn't drive it right away after the first trip the dealership. My wife took on a trip over the weekend and it came back running rough.

I just got it back from the second trip to the dealership and it seems to be riding fine. They said they changed the spark plugs and put in a new air filter, but I have a feeling it was a little more than that.
