A/C blinking information wanted....

This is further to my previous post....

My A/C light blinks the same number each time 6 or 7 depending on whether you count the initial on as a blink.

Does anyone have any information on the number of blinks as an indicator of the problem?

I expect it may contain something in a GM service manual which I do not have.

Re: A/C blinking information wanted....

Does your a/c stop working when this happens? I had this happen to me on my 98 intrigue. I took the control out and cleaned the a/c button. The whole thing comes out pretty easy and then just unsnaps apart. Quite a cheesy design but easy to take apart. good luck.
