need to disable

hi,
I have an '89 Buick Century wagon. Ok, you know the sound your car makes when you leave your headlights on after you shut your car off and open your door, that beeeeeeeeep sound. It also goes off when you leave your keys in the ignition and open your door when the car is off. I need to disable that beep. Does anyone know how I could do that?

there is a box called a chime module located in or near the fues box. They are normally brownish in color (color of butterscotch pudding). unplugging it will make it quit beeping, but it will also disable your dome light coming on when you open he door (you can turn it on manually).
