Buncha Questions

I'm currently building a model of this car:

Does anyone know where I can find wheels that look even remotely close to his Bogart D10s?

Also, because this is a turboed True Street car, I wanted to use aluminum tubing for the turbo setup, but I'm at a loss for how to bend it without kinking it. Does anyone have any tips, or should I just stick to styrene?

How can I make decals like this car has on the rear 1/4 windows above "Mustang"?

I'm a little new at this whole extreme custom building, most of my models to date have been true-to-stock builds...You can check out the progress on the True Street Stang in the completed/in progress forum under "Newbie Model Builder."

Re: Mustang and Bogart D10 wheels questions

Don't know the answers to your questions. But I did change the title of the thread to one more likely to snag the attention of somebody who might know.

The easiest way to bend aluminum tubing without kinking it is to put the tube over a solid brass rod as if it were a sleeve, and then bend it. No kinks.

As far as the wheels, your guess is as good as mine. There are some similar wheels in the Revell "Christine" Pro Mod '58 Fury that have the same hub and basically the same spoke shape, but aren't split spoke. I suppose you could modify those.

Re: Mustang and Bogart D10 wheels questions

Alot of people use solder for pipes which is softer and easier to bend than alluminium pipes. Otherwize, bend it around something like the guy said.
