Another window problem!

I'm having trouble with the driver front window on a 1999 Intrigue. The window is stuck inside the door and motor is working. I'm guessing the window came out of the track or whatever assembly raises and lowers it. I can't seem to figure out how to take the door panel off to put the window back in place. I removed 2 screws from the bottom, 1 screw hidden behind a plastic cap behind the door latch and 1 larger screw underneath the door handle. There is still something holding it in place in the center. I'm obviously not mechanically inclined when it comes to cars. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...

If my memory serves me correctly, there is another screw behind the power window switches. Be careful removing the switches and the plastic trim that they reside in - it's easy to break the forward tab that holds the trim in place. Pull up on the back first and try to not pull up on the front. Then slide it back toward the rear until the tab disengages. I have never removed the door trim on the newer GMs completely; they claim that the plastic retainers (around the perimeter of the panel) must be replaced when re-installing.

Re: Another window problem!

I agree that the plastic retainers should be replaced. The retainers come in two plastic parts. A slot (shaped like the slots on a hammer) on the trim and a pin which connects to the body. When I removed the trim from mine, the plastic slots were fine, but the plastic pins pulled out from their holes on the body and their tabs deformed. Replacement shouldn't be too much.

I found these pages that illustrate the tab locations:

Pictures are worth 1000 words.

Link to Intrigue panel removal photos

Thanks for that link that shows how to remove some Intrigue interior panels with photos and instructions. I'm going to send them a donation for such clear instructions.

Also, does anyone know how to remove the plastic trim strips which run along the frame just under the front two doors, as well as how to remove the plastic trim strip on the front pillars between the dash and roof. There are no screws to remove and I'm afraid if I pull incorrectly, something will break.
