1970 gto urethane front
hi
Theres a 1970 GTO for sale that I saw. Its in need of a complete restoration and the guy says it has a rare factory urethane nosecone. Is this true? And how much would it be worth? thanks

Well, maybe better late than never... I just saw this post. The front bumper on GTO in 1970 was made of "Endura", a Pontiac-specific rubber, painted with "special" paint. No urethane... ALL '70 GTOs were so equipped. Same is true of '69. There were a few '68s with chrome bumpers (a delete option), but the '68 GTO was Motor Trend's Car of the Year, mainly due to the Endura bumper.
