Re: is this a good price

Ok for the price thats a good price as far as a jspec engine goes most range from 1500-3000 that I've seen but the I cant pull the link up for some reason but a list of other things you would need.
t2 drive shaft, the ecu wiring harness and is your car already a 5 speed or is it an auto?

Re: is this a good price

Well from what I hear the turbo shaft is some what different from the sport and the other n/as but I'm not totally sure, all I know is when i changed the engine in my turbo I had to change the shaft along with it because I went from turbo to n/a(due to the lack of funds to rebuild the turbo engine) but I used the same motor mounts that was in the turbo car. A performance radiator is always a good install to keep the engine cooler, I've heard of the stock plastic side casings breaking after the years pass, and if your car doesnt already have a lsd you might want to look into installing one in it. Oh almost forgot that you will need a turbo hood if you dont already have one. If your not sure if its a s4 or s5 just look at the oil squirter pump I can never remember what they're called but the s4 is mechanical and the s5 is electronic that is if you get it, just a little bit of side info sorry if I seem to be rambaling.

Re: is this a good price

On the t2 engine the intercooler mounts on top of the engine unless your going to do a front mount intercooler you wouldnt really need it other then its aluminum and its a little lighter then the steel hood that comes on the n/a cars. But for the price I would go ahead and buy a carbon fiber hood priced are around 450-500, less weight and still has the t2 scoop.I'd check out rx7.com as far as radiators go or just look around for a good aluminum radiator.

Re: is this a good price

The only CF TII style hood i saw was $600 and the scoop was centered.

To do the na to turbo swap, you can either use the stock transmission or you can use the TII tranny from engine back.

Re: is this a good price

If you dont use the turbp tranny, yes, bu the na tranny is likely to break at higher hp levels.
