97 mirage de acceleration problem

i have a 97 mirage de and i have an acceleration problem. i think its the ecu or the O2 censor. but i cant pick up speed at all. if anyone has heard of this problem let me know how to fix it. thanks

tried changin the spark plugs yet? check wires for ware? if it was ecu or o2 sensor, service engine would come on. maybe check fuel filter, injectors also.

I had a similar problem....

solution and cause:

1. Spark plugs blown ... change new ones
2. Spark plug cable leaking .... change new ones
3. Fuel starvation and injectors clogged.... change fuel filter and clean injectors.

By the way an o2 sensor doesnt effect acceleration only idle.
