Blue smoke

I have one cherokee 1995. When I go out city, after 2 hours, it begins to throw blue smoke. I must return to throw oil to transmision. I repaired the transmision 2 times. What it is my problem?

Re: Blue smoke

Where is the smoke coming from? Underneath? The tailpipe? Inside the engine compartment?

Have you checked for obvious leaks under the transmission?

Blue smoke usually indicates you are are burning oil.

Re: Blue smoke

The transmission has not leaks.
The smoke is coming Underneath the car.

Re: Blue smoke

I am assuming that it is an automatic transmission.

If that is correct, are you checking the transmission oil with the engine running, transmission in neutral (park brake on) and the jeep on level ground?

If not the transmission could be over filled and as the heated oil expands it WILL come out of the breather. The results will be much like you describe.
