Accesorie, but no on!!!!
I am having one heck of a problem figuring out what is wrong. I can not get the ignition to go to the on possision in my 94 Jeep 4.0L Cherokee. I can put the key in the ignition and turn it back and the Radio come on but when I try to turn it to the on position it does not start, it seems to be locked.
Is it that I neeed a new ignition switch or is there something else wrong. Any help would be nice. Thanks |

Re: Accesorie, but no on!!!!
As kmerian said, your switch is bad. Not the lock cylinder part but the electrical switch.

Re: Accesorie, but no on!!!!
Thanks for all your help guys. I found the problem and it was not the switch it self. The problem was the lincage from the cylinder lock, it got stuck and all I had to do was jiggle the linkage back and forth on the column.
