Dome light, police model

2000 Impala police package. Dome light works with headlight switch but not door. All other door related functions seem to work. Seems to be a common issue, does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

I never personally have paid attention to my dome light, but is there a difference when the Surv. Mode is on or off?

Originally, there is supposed to be a "Red-Light" for when your in Surv. Mode opposed to the regular light. They had pulled it out on mine.

Have you tried using the radio deck options as well? There are quite a few functions you can access though there, including dome-light delay (Usually 0, 30 seconds, 60 seconds)

Not sure what else to suggest. Sometimes I think they go overboard in the wire-cutting/ripping with the police models.
