Re: Heavy Vibration

First, is it coming from the drivetrain, and secondly is yours an extended cab or regular cab?

Re: Heavy Vibration

The u-joints can give you a vibration, don't know what you mean by "heavy". If it is actually shaking the truck you might want to check the tires to see if the cord is seperating. It will look like a bump and sometimes you may have to jack up each wheel and rotate the tire and feel the tread with your hand as you rotate.

After that, check the u-joints, rear suspension and trans mounts.

If it is "heavy", my first look would be to the tires.

Regular cab and the tires are brand new, less than a month old. The truck has a little over 76,000 miles.

Re: Heavy Vibration

1.) Get the tires balanced and rotated.
2.) Check you alignment.

does it pull in any direction?

did the vibration happen before the new tires?
