ignition starter problem!><! help please

BRAND new to this forum......i got a 87 cherokee 4.0 ((engine in realy good shape))Ragged Trany ( stick )n no Radiator,and in need of some serious body work!! i also have a 89 4.0 cherokee withAuto trany everything in good condition but the engine, it threw a rod, n bad fuel pump . soo i did n engine swap n put the one frm the 87 into the 89. it all went real smooth. changed the gaskets. everything switched over ((( changed the fly wheel))). started up right away had it running for about 30 minutes at idle. then it just stoped n wouldn't start again.then it wouldn't even turn over. i thought it was the ballast soo i replaced it. didn't work... then i replaced the starter relay. didn't work... any help at all would be VERY VERY apprechiated

Well, first double check all of the sensor connectors (CPS, etc.) to make sure nothing wiggled loose during the first run.

Also, check the battery to make sure it has a full charge. Have you tried to jump it with another battery?
