Engine measurement estimate please

I am hauling a D16 this weekend, and I am not able to find the rough dimensions- depth, width and height of the engine with tranny. If anyone has their car and a tapemeasure handy. thanks
rough estimate

Re: Engine measurement estimate please

is that a d16a1 you are thinking of? not all d16's were created equal

unless you want someone to run off to japan with a tape measure you'd better figure which USDM motor uses the same platform

Re: Engine measurement estimate please

well. I know that the engines are similar in size. meaning, within 6in. each way. I just need a rough estimate for say a D16A6. that would do it. I dont need it exact. Just so I can see if it will fit in a car trunk.
