dont think there is a TT kit, maybe a single turbo kit by some individuals on 3SI, and of coruse there are superchargers as well. As far as the TT goes you'll have to strip parts off of a vr-4 so its basically making your own kit

hotshot's is a turbo converted 3kgt, see where it says "automatic" there where no auto VR-4s. right now I am also researching the conversion because all the leads on the Supercharger went dead and it seems like pointless when you can just turbo them. One thing I dont get is why all the TT conversions are done on stock pistons with like 10.5 compression? that is dangerous as hell and just begging for a blown out engine right? but to swap internals and rebuilt the engine is an easy $10,000.00 my question is: how much does a new or rebuilt 6G72TT cost? It be safer to just swap engines and mod from there right?

and be careful with those N/A MTX trannies too, the stock differentials are known to blow under those kinds of power, and you will need an upgraded clutch cause the stock one just won't hold, and even then, Ty from speed factor has blown over 5 transmissions just because the gears with shear right off of each other. If that happens, i'd say buy an AWD tranny and weld up the VCU, but even then, MAJOR traction issues regardless of what you have.

^ seriously???
awwwww forget that, it'd be safer and more cost effective to just get a VR-4........how did you manage the conversion then Hotshot? are you running an upgraded ATX tranny?

you can still do it, there have been plenty of people who haven't had problems yet, still a lot of people that have. As far as mine, ATX's have longer gears + torque converters are a way of relieving a lot of stress on a tranny, and yes its now fully built.
