Installation Center

Hey guys finished pricing and buying my system now it's time to find a good installer.

I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations to get my system installed in the NY/Long Island/CT/NJ area. This install will require basic wiring and such, it also may require some minor cutting and spacer creations. I'd like to add some sound deadening which could be put on during the install.

If anyone has any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated, please keep in mind that I won't be buying any of the sound equipment that I get the install done at. Thanks for the help guys...

Re: Installation Center

bah, I do all my work in the parking garage on the college campus

Just last night I rewired my tweets, moved them to the a-pillar, and remounted my kodas (the terminals were shorting out on the deadening). Last year I did a full component and amp install, put in 120sqft of deadening, and I also installed a header on my car in the parking garage.

Don't make up excuses, work around it

If i was walking past while you were working i would have probably thought you were stealing the stuff and called the police.

Re: Installation Center

yeah I've thought about that, campus security has driven by a few times and never said anything

if they did I wouldn't mind, actually I would appreciate it because it would mean people actually give a damn about other people's property and theft. Props to you for doing the right thing (er, would do if the situation arose).
