Progress: '49 Ford

Here is a quick build of the AMT 1949 Ford. After spending alot of time on a kit, I like to do a quick build!! So I do not get burned out! The '49 is painted semi-gloss black over red-oxide primer. It will get the rust treatment!! So really this is another rat-rod without the extra work.. This will be curbside since I stole the motor already!! ENJOY!!!!!!!

This was all done in one day!! I am going to try and build this in three days!! Comments/ feedback welcome!! Dennis

well I have to say it looks very sleek after one day work, wondering what it will be like when it's finished, are you doing a flame job?

Oh and are those the rims that come with the kit?

These wheels come from the '29 Ford 3-n-1 rat kit!! The wheels are awesome and the whitewalls are even better! Everytime Hobby-Lobby has a 1/2 off sale, I buy the kit just for the wheels. The other kit that has these wheels is the '31 Ford 2-n-1 Sedan!!

bigfrit beat me to it re the wheels. They look awesome. Will have to get one of those kits for the wheels etc.
Any chance of a How To on the Rust effect? Couldn't see one there when I looked.
Should look great when finished. Loved your Rat Rod.
Cheers
Tony

Many Thanks! I will look forward to it. Love the"Ol Skool Rodz" magazine and website. I am 42 years old but I have just about read the print off the August/September Issue. You just can't beat a good Willys or a Rat Rod.
