89 New Yorker -electrical (short) problem
I am wondering if anyone would have an answer or start point for an electrical problem. When I park my car the interior lights go on and the power locks flick off and on, needless to say it drains the battery. I boost the car to start it and then it is fine until it sits again for more than a couple of hours. The locks will also flick off and on while I am driving. Sometimes the car is okay overnight and then dead again after I drive it again. Thanks for your help.

that doesn't sound good... could it be computer related...? those computer systems can cause a lot of strange problems with anything electrical sometimes...

You could try checking the computer error codes, it might give you an idea of what's wrong.... here is a list of Chrysler computer error codes for 80's models:

that is definly a computer problem if u can locate it as long as it is not on the breather like mine is there should be a reset button on it like on old childrens watches that u can push with a pen check and see |

door lock & int.lite problem
check your clearances on door strike switch .door or switch adjustment is needed!
