engine swap

What would I have to do to drop a 302 in a 94 bird? Taking out the 4.6. Will it bolt to the tranny if not what would be a good solid trans for it? And how would the wiring work? Thanks again

Re: engine swap

I believe (don't quote me on this) that if you drop in an aod the 302 willl bolt up its the electronics i'm worried about.

Why do you want to do this?

trying to figure out what would be cheaper. A 4.6 is around $2800.00 for a new long block stock.

Check out that link... they have a rebuilt engine for you car.... less than 2800.. Just a thought in comparison to what you might be spending on 302...
