Hi Sebring owners. I'm having 2 problems with my 2001 convertible. First is my CD player ( stock ) no longer works. The radio is fine, but no CD. I tried a cd cleaner disc, but to no avail. Secondly, on the passenger switch for the power window, I can raise the window, but can't lower it.
faulty switch?.wire fall off?? any help is greatly appreciated Thanks Mommba |

Re: Radio CD/ Power Window
I'm having the same window problem, but on the driver's side of my 2001 town&country. The problem only occurs when using AUTO DOWN. See T&C problems. Chrysler says to bring it in (of course)

Take your door panels off and check the tracks that the window rests in while its lowered and raised...I found that the two small gear-like discs which screw on and hold the window in place in its tracks had loosened, fallen off, and lay at the bottom of the door on the inside...if your hands aren't too big, and this appears to be the problem, you can reposition the window onto the plate (it has two smooth-edged holes in it, which fit onto the plate) and then thread the white gear-like discs back onto the plate, holding the window in place...voila...solved my problem...
