Just wondering, what is the most effective carpet cleaner? The cars carpet is stained so bad and I'm just wondering what people here have tried and what works? Thanks!

Re: Interior
if it bothers you that much and you cant get it as clean as you want it, there is replacement carpet in a number of different colors for the escort, around $150 tho

Well I'm not looking to spend 150 bucks just for a new carpet, thats why I want to just clean the old one. It's not that it really bothers me its just that I don't want it to get moldy or anything like that.

Re: Interior
I just used a $1.00 carpet cleaner (spray). Sprayed it on let it sit and scrubbed it out. Carpet looks brand new.

Re: Interior
My friend used a wet/dry vac on his 82 Cutlass. It had built up grease from the previous owner, and it was settled in. Only one prob, when he started, his carpet was grey, so he wanted white. He definatly got white using 75% Bleach, 15% Water, and 10%Joy. If your looking to keep the color, just use a bleach alternative like Tide.
