Re: Hay ;)

Hay is for horses, not for people. But anyway, welcome and nice to see another female around.

Ho Ho, more chicas on this board.

Aussie, the other day this girl was on a cbr, and one can easily tell from far away I guess because she's not wearing any gear besides the helmet, but I figured later I wasn't so attentive on who's riding. So while I was driving, I told my mother look at that "red wonder" waiting to make left turn. I was implying the red cbr600rr. My mother replies, "oh so you have the hots for her eh?" I said huh? It was then I realized that she was wearing a "red" sleevless shirt, blue jeans, and heeled shoes on a red bike with a red helmet.

Hehe thanks
Ya I do skate, not as much as I used to when I was younger but I try to visit the local skate park as often as I can. I just wear my hat real low so the kids can't tell how old I am.. hehe

Re: Hay ;)

Sportsters aren't bad bikes. A female friend of mine chose one over a Honda Shadow, only due to a MINOR increase in cost for the Harley... and better resale value.

Welcome, new peoples of AF!

That's why other Harley riders call them 'girlie bikes'!!

Seriously I like Sportsters too. Early sixties technology, instead of big hog's thirties tech!! Woo-hoo!!!!!

j/k.....I really do like them.

Re: Hay ;)

like its been said, welcome newbies , i myself am only relatively new to the forum AND the sport, although i consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable to internal combustion engines , although not very good at bike-isolated problems...

either way, anyone you find that frenquents this section of Automotive Forums will most definately be glad to help, especially the current newbies who have picked up most of the 'whats good for a first bike' information... will be glad to help...

please, feel free to test our knowledge by starting a new thread (if you consider it to be relavent to more than yourself) or otherwise, post it in the "off topic place to chat" thread..

as part of the street bikes regular's, i welcome you and sincerlely hope you enjoy your stay

regards,
some rather drunk, 18 yr old male from Melbourne, Australia.
