abs light

hi,

just wondering if there was a way to test whats wrong witht e abs, i bouight the car and it don't work...but i must say that if it wasn't too pricy i MIGHt fix it..

is there any way to get codes out for the abs? like for the AC and EFI ?

Here's a link talking about it. You did not say what year your car is, and that makes it difficult to give a procedure. Different years have different systems and different procedures for pulling codes.

oh sorry.. its a PA 92.. and i tried the brakes and the abs will not work

..err is mine a theves system or bosch?


i'm thinking of buying a haynes manual for the car.. or a clymer..

Screw ABS, like i posted in other post my car is mint, and the abs has almost always had issues. The light is on and most everyone who has issues leaves it alone or pulls the bulb out. its costly and its GM's fault for a crappy system. All GM's have issues, saturn's etc. If you want it fixed prepare to spend $$..

question : how do you remove the bulb? do you need to remove the whole dashboard?? i hate having a piece on eletrical tape to hide the light

you'll have to remove the top dash cover which means you have to remove the front dash cover as well. not a big job.. when you remove all your wood trim, the screws are behind it. remove that stuff and you'll be golden.
