How much is to much

How much nitrious is to much? I have been playing around with the thought of packing some spray in my car. Its a 00 Z28 with no real engine mods except for Hpp3 and 160* stat. I also got 3.73's and flowmasters. I was just wondering how much i could run and still be safe from ruining my engine. I don't plan on using it that often maybe a couple times a year. Like in the summer when the track is open. My guess is maybe 5 times a year. Very little.

Re: How much is to much

i would say a 100 shot is safe, 125 is living dangerously, and 175 is the extream limit, but then again, i play it very very safe, so you could probly run more than that. the key thing here is to make sure that the ammount of juice you run, wont lean out the engine, and if you run higher levels of N2O you should have a ignition delay box to retard your timing a bit. i would suggest writing a letter to a company that manufactures a nitrous kit for the LS1, and get their input as they would know best.

Re: How much is to much

bigger injectors and a wet kit with a stock bottom end I would not spray over 150 shot...

100% stock car be safe a dont spray over 100 shot...
