|
I have a 1997 Spyder and i bought a garret t3 turbo.....it has the wastegate and a bov that came with it.....what else do i need to put it on my car.....im not real familiar with turbos so any advice would be greatly aprieciated.

youll need an exhaust mani that fits whatever turbo your running. intake pipe will need to be custom. IC piping and IC itself..theres a lot of room in the engine bay for that stuff so no need to worry, but buying a turbo straight up isnt the best idea...the cost of the turbo itself is peanuts compared to the labor of all the other supporting mods you'll need, plus all the custom fabrication for the 4g64. Consider doing a DOHC swap from the 1990 Galant GSX.... the guy who bought the 4g64 off me turboed it. Hes running a 16G without a DOHC swap but with supporting mods. Cost him $6500 total here in CA. |
