turn signal problem

on my moms car when she turn the turn signal on then completes a turn the turn signal doesnt shut off? it just started doing that one day she said. any suggestions?

What happened is she's broken the 'click off' switch as i like to call it. Nothin you can do unless you want to pay for it to be fixed, the cost of which i have no idea. It's an inconvenience is all, so it's up to you guys.

It's an easy fix, just a matter of what it'll cost ya'll.

Why not just get a replacement unit from a junkyard? Ford would probably charge you up the ass for a new OEM replacment.

I know people don't like the "big bad dealer" but this cancel cam is common to break - I'd recomend a trip to the dealer and get a new one instead of a junk one from a junk yard - depending on your skill level you could probably change it yourself - the focus column isn't really hard to work on - just be sure your up to it before you start
