dash,park lights....blowing fuse

I've got a 96 1500, the dash and park lights keep blowing the fuse. This might sound stupid....but I can replace the the fuse with a good one and turn the lights on and they work fine. When I shut the door, I guess the jarring of the door shutting blows the fuse again. I know it has to be a short, where should I start looking? Thanks

I think I would start with the headlight switch itself and check the wiring on the connector

Or perhaps the wiring in the door switch; maybe it's somehow connected?
