99 G. caravan speedo and tach problem

This morning the speedometer and tachometer quit working on our 99 grand caravan. Everything else seemed to be working fine and it drove fine. When started later in the day the speedometer and tach were working like they should. Any suggestions on what to check???? Thanks for any help!

Re: 99 G. caravan speedo and tach problem

Had the same thing happen in my 2000 GC Sport. It turned out to be the battery going bad. Does yours start slow?

You may want to check the battery terminals for corrosion. You can clean them by soaking them in baking soda and water.

I have the same problem on my 96 grand caravan. Did you find out what the problem was and how to correct it?
