Question Oil Trouble Light?

I have a 96 grand am and my oil trouble light will not go off. The only way I can get it to go off is if I turn the engine off and start the car again. I am sure there isn't a problem with the oil pump but is there a relay switch somewhere that needs to be reset to stop this from happening without actually disableing the trouble light?
