Miles Per Gallon for a Classic Beetle??

Anyone know what the standard MPG is for a 71 1300 Beetle with no mods?

What do you get out of yours?

Whats your technique?

I always fill up bang on the quarter full mark(as good as i can see anyway), log the mileage and litres.

Then its: Miles
(Litres x 0.22)
