cd ac backlight went out and...

hey all, so i drive a 2003 accord, i went to turn on my headlights 3 nights ago and all my dash lights came on and about 2 seconds later the light behind(in?) my stock stereo and AC units went out. the AC still works, the stereo still works, i checked my fuses, even tested the slots for electrical current, all good. is it just one light back behind the units? i am pretty good mechanically, i am confident that i can fix this myself i just have no clue how to go about pulling my dash apart/ head unit out

AND my stereo is the stock in-dash six disc changer with the CD/AUX button, does anyone know if there are RCA inputs in the back of the head unit, i want to hook up my ipod.

ANY suggestions, recommendations for both issues and help would be greatly appreciated and i thank you in advance.

Re: cd ac backlight went out and...

I'm sure they both run off of seperate lights, so they both should be fine. Pull them out and check and make sure all the wires are connected. Check for current before and after the wiring harness, and see if you can isolate where the problem is at.
