coolant temperature sensor

has anyone replaced the coolent temperature sensor ??? it's located on the drivers side of the motor,,below the egr valve...looks like a real pain in the neck to replace..hardly any room to get your hands near it...has anyone replaced it or have any helpful information...thanks
