painting body kit

I just got my Agressore 2 in today and was wondering what would be a good price to get it painted for because i have been going to different shopes around town and dont want to get over charged. So what do u think would be a resonable price to get it painted and instaled for?

Hmmm....I'm not real sure but I would think somewhere around $500 or so. I didn't get my whole kit painted all at once, I just got it painted as I got each piece so I'm not really sure on the price of painting the whole kit all at once. I also put my kit on myself so you'll have to figure that in too. Somewhere around $500 is what I'd estimate, but I could be wrong.

If i end up having to pay 700 for a quality job it might have to be a while.

I would be kind of unsure about a guy that was only charging me $200 or $300 to paint the kit too. If you could find a car that he had painted to kind of see the quality of his work then you might be okay. You might want to think about just putting it on yourself instead of having the shop to put it on for you. It's really not all that bad, it really shouldn't be bad at all since it's a Wings West kit, I have a Wings West rear bumper and spoiler and the fit is excellent. You don't have to do a lot to get the bumpers to go on the car right, especially if the kit is urethane.

This girls i know has a silver accord that he did the body kit for and charged her 200 and it looks good but it hasnt been painted that long so i dont know how the paint will stand up in the long run and i think the only reason he is doing it that cheap for me is because they are dating and i am in the same car club as her. I could put it on by myself but i had a few people offer to do it for free and said either way instaled or not the price would be the same but if i had to do it I think it would be easy to get on anyways cause it is urithane and it is flexable.

Have the dude guarentee his work that it will match perfectly, and if it doesnt dont pay him. Make sure you get it in writing

Yeah, maybe he's just hooking you up with that price. I got my bodykit painted real cheap to because my girlfriend's dad knows the guy real good. Give him a try if he agrees to fix any problems you have with the paint.
